At Be A Mercy, our mission is to channel obligatory (zakah) and voluntary (sadaqah) charity as acts of worship to support faith-aligned causes. We are the Doing Business As (DBA) entity of the Islamic Chaplaincy of New Jersey, a 501(c)(3) religious nonprofit organization.
We are not a standalone humanitarian or relief agency. Rather, we are a dedicated extension of our religious commitment—serving others through organized, purpose-driven giving rooted in the teachings of Islam.
Through Be A Mercy Foundation, our chaplains, members, and supporters engage in charitable work as a reflection of their religious values.
