Be a Mercy Foundation is a 501(c) 3 non-profit grassroots organization whose mission is to provide disaster relief based on the principles of solidarity, mutual aid, and autonomous direct action. By working with, listening to, and supporting the vulnerable & impacted communities, we hope to facilitate their own path to recovery and build long-term sustainable resilient communities.
Our projects [with exception to the Build a Masjid project] are 100% zakat eligible with 0% of donations going towards overhead expenditure. All of our work is done by volunteers both in the US and in countries where BMF is operating its different causes.

Blanket Drive
As winter approaches, many families face a harsh reality: the choice between warmth and nourishment. Be a Mercy Foundation believes that no one should have to make such a difficult decision. That’s why we’re excited to announce our new initiative, the Blanket Drive.
Orphan Sponsorship
Be a Mercy Foundation is currently responsible for the well-being and sustenance of 250 Rohingyan orphans & 250 Burkinabé orphans (West Africa).
Feeding Humanity
BMF has been hard at work on the frontlines fighting hunger and targeting its root causes and enabling communities to build long-term resiliency. Since 2018 through your support, BMF arranges 1500 meals daily across three different regions of the world. Costing only $0.45 a day per meal.
Give Water Save Lives
Thousands of people face severe clean water shortages across the entire continent of Africa. BMF hopes to eliminate this crisis by building one deep water well at a time in remote villages.
Hafidh Sponsorship
Sponsoring a Hifdh student is one of the best forms of sadaqah al jaariyah [on going charity] in this life. BMF seeks to support this beautiful tradition by sponsoring poor students across the world to memorize the wondrous recitation of Gods Supreme Word.
Empowerment through Education
BMF believes that education is a basic human right, and currently operating several schools across West Africa and in Rohingya camps in Bangladesh.
Vocational Training
In an effort to accomplishing this momentous task, Be A Mercy Foundation has set up a vocational sewing program for women in Rohingya Refugee camps and in remote villages across West Africa.
Laptops For Africa
BMF’s Computer and Technology programs aim to enhance student’s educational experiences through technology-based resources. These laptops will help over 4,000 students, 40% of whom are orphans.
Udhiya/Qurbani
Be a Mercy Foundation distributes Udhiya (Qurbani) meat every year among various villages in South Asia and West Africa. In sha Allah with your assistance we hope to feed thousands of needy Muslims throughout the globe.
Build a Masjid
At Be a Mercy Foundation, we believe in building more than just structures; we strive to construct hope and foster faith within impoverished communities. Our latest project, Build a Masjid, aims to provide communal places of worship that will stand as pillars of strength for generations to come.
Poultry Prevents Poverty
With your help BMF can establish one chicken farm, which houses 2000 chickens each, in every village across West Africa in hopes of breaking the cycle of poverty.
Emergency Relief
In times of crisis, Be a Mercy Foundation extends its mission to address immediate needs through our newest initiative: Emergency Aid. While our core focus remains on long-term sustainability, we recognize the urgency of responding to pressing crises worldwide, be it natural disasters or conflicts. As believers and compassionate humans, we share a collective responsibility to lend a helping hand to those in need.
