Be a Mercy Foundation is a 501(c) 3 non-profit grassroots organization whose mission is to provide disaster relief based on the principles of solidarity, mutual aid, and autonomous direct action. By working with, listening to, and supporting the vulnerable & impacted communities, we hope to facilitate their own path to recovery and build long-term sustainable resilient communities.

Our projects [with exception to the Build a Masjid project] are 100% zakat eligible with 0% of donations going towards overhead expenditure. All of our work is done by volunteers both in the US and in countries where BMF is operating its different causes.

BMF has been hard at work on the frontlines fighting hunger and targeting its root causes and enabling communities to build long-term resiliency. Since 2018 through your support, BMF arranges 1500 meals daily across three different regions of the world. Costing only $0.45 a day per meal.

BMF’s Computer and Technology programs aim to enhance student’s educational experiences through technology-based resources. These laptops will help over 4,000 students, 40% of whom are orphans.
