Laptops for Africa

Laptops for Africa

Be a Mercy Foundation Computer and Technology programs in Africa aim to give school children a chance to enhance their educational experiences through technology-based resources and widen their horizons, so they may have a chance at success in today’s world. According to Internet World Stats published at the end of 2019, Africa has the lowest internet penetration rate among all continents at just 39.3%. This poses a significant problem as it highlights the digital divide which could greatly impact the development of African children with the rest of the world. At Be a Mercy we are focusing on assisting with projects that combine a more integrative approach towards the provision of technology coupled with infrastructure and teaching recruitment support to facilitate a wide range of needs subject to the requirements of specific regions across West Africa.

At this stage we need your support in sponsoring 500 laptops for our schools in Mali, Burkina Faso, Togo and Niger. These laptops will help over four thousand students, forty percent of whom are orphans. Please contribute by selecting the number of laptops you would like to sponsor.
